Call for Abstracts

This symposium invites scholars and practitioners working with restoration, reclamation and rehabilitation of forests including wetland or coastal ecosystems, mining areas, logged-over forests or other marginal areas. Those who are working in these fields are encouraged to submit abstracts according to the following themes:

 T1) Status of reclamation, restoration & rehabilitation

T2) Wetland, riparian and coastal ecosystems

T3) Mined areas

T4) Grasslands, secondary forests and poorly stocked logged-over forests

T5) Carbon sequestration and conservation

Abstracts should be written in Times New Romans font 12 with Title, Author(s), Affiliation(s) and Corresponding author. The length of the abstract must not exceed 350 words and must be sent by mail to no later than 31st March 2012. Acceptance of abstracts will be announced by 15th April 2012. All papers must be written and presented in English. Contributors whose abstracts are accepted must register for the conference, pay registration fees, and prepare an extended abstract of no more than four (4) pages including references.
